Delivery, Refunds, Returns, Exchanges

We trust you will be delighted with the Art Tree books and digital resources. Much care and hard work has gone into creating them. However, if a problem should arise, please see below.

Books

Please contact Julie Mitchell (julie@artdays.co.uk) within 14 days of delivery to register any defect/delivery damage/other issue and if necessary, she will raise it with the printers who also handle/liaise with couriers. Please do not contact the printers directly.

  • Defective books or books damaged during delivery: please take photos straightaway as proof. Notify Julie Mitchell who will liaise with the printers about your book(s’) return which needs to happen within 14 days of delivery to qualify for a refund/replacement. The printers will provide a freepost address.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange. If books have signs of use, they will not be refunded or replaced (particularly if having been opened hard against the spine).
  • If you are approved, a replacement book(s) will be sent out to you within 14 days of its return to us. Alternatively, if you prefer, a credit will be applied to your credit or debit card or original method of payment within 14 days of its return to us.

  • Julie Mitchell and the printers of her books are not responsible for their loss, damage or wear and tear (particularly if they have been pushed open hard against the spine). No refunds or replacements will be given for this.

Digital Resources

  • The books and digital resources reference each other and are designed to be used together. The digital resources cannot be purchased as a separate item without the Subject Leaders’ Guide.
  • If you have purchased the digital resources as well as the books, the digital resources will only be released to you once the books have been delivered safely. Requesting your digital resources confirms your satisfaction with the books. A release code comes with the book(s’) delivery note.
  • The digital resources are sent via email to the school’s headteacher using WeTransfer (online file sharing website). Customers have 7 days to download them from WeTransfer.
  • The digital resources are uploaded to WeTransfer from a computer which has up-to-date software protection running constantly against viruses and threats.
  • No refunds will be given for the digital resources and books once the digital resources have been downloaded by the customer. The exception here would be if the digital resources are found to be faulty, for which the customer must provide proof. Replacements can be resent accordingly.

Late or Missing Refunds

Refunds may take up to 14 days after the return of your book(s) to us. If you haven’t received a refund after that time, check your bank account again. If you still have not received a refund, please contact Julie Mitchell: julie@artdays.co.uk

Delivery

  • Books are delivered by tracked couriers Amazon or Parcelforce to UK addresses. As this is a new shop, payment processing and turnaround/delivery takes approximately 7-14 working days but we aim for faster. The printers who handle despatch will send you tracking details via your email address. Their new tracking system is currently being trialled so please bear with them.
  • Delivery to non-UK addresses will be rolled out shortly.
